he shouldn't be allowed to use his goggles as it helps to hold your breath longer re-using the air inside it.

that doesnt make a difference at all, inhaling while wearing that mask just sucks it against your face....you're not getting ANY extra air out of that thing

but you CANT re-use it because you're not getting anything from it, and you cant put anything in it because as soon as you blow into it air escapes.

you can't get anything from it, it doesn't work.

The reason why I say this is because I use to free dive as a job in the CookIslands for pearls, and I know it doesn't give any extra air, but as a diver, the advantage of having a mask is re-using that air in the mask, even though it may not help you at all, you use it anyway trying to fool yourself into believing its fresh air, therefore giving you the pshycological edge on holding your breath for longer.
